Two BIG Halo projects I’m working on…

I working on two projects for the blog. One deals with a map in Halo 2 Anniversary from the HMCC. It promises to tower above the rest… It will include video, screenshots, and of course text explanations. I’m about 50% of the way done with this. I hope to have it ready to post on Monday.

The other will be providing 400+ Halo images. I’m around 25% of the way done with that one and hope to have it ready to start on Monday or Tuesday. This project will be a 10-part series. I’ll release 2-parts a day once it’s ready to go.

Now as to what they specifically are….well, I can’t quite let the proverbial cat out of the bag just yet. For one,I don’t want anyone stealing my ideas.

Apologies if this seems like click-bait. I just wanted to let you all know about these two projects in case my posting on the blog is a little less than normal today and tomorrow.

HMCC has a 50 custom map/gametype limit for your saves

Just as the title states, the HMCC has a limit to the amount of custom maps and game types you can save. It’s only 50…FIFTY. Okay, while this may seem like a lot, for those of us who forge a bit, this is VERY limiting. I’ve already got a dozen saved. At this rate, I’ll run out of room some time in December.

I found this out via a link on twitter from my friend AddiCt3d 2CHa0s. The link goes to the Halo Waypoint forum where the original poster, o Nondual o makes this limiting feature known to us.

Below is his post from Halo Waypoint:  Continue reading

This is a reblog from Halo Waypoint (times are PST):

11.13 1:28PM Update We are aware that while some users are reporting improved Matchmaking experiences, many users have not seen an improvement. As a result, we are temporarily moving to a limited playlist layout that will allow for players to find games faster. We’ll temporarily be removing the following playlists:  Continue reading

HMCC looks FANTASTIC in 1080p 60fps!

Download and matchmaking waiting times aside, the HMCC looks Spectacular! I’m in Halo CE Anniversary’s campaign and WOW do the graphics pop more and the movement is much more crisp!

I’m currently playing all of the campaigns in order.  I’m not trying to get the skulls or terminals just yet. I just want to complete the campaigns. There are a TON of achievements with completing them. Continue reading

Halo Master Chief Collection Achievement Guideline – Part 6: Those NEW last 50 Achievements

This is the sixth (and likely final) of this series of articles for the achievements of the Halo Master Chief Collection. If there are more revealed at a later date, of course I’ll make a simple guide to those as well. At the bottom will be links for the other parts to this simple guide.

HFFL Community Friend ‘Tetrahedrite’ wrote up his own guideline and shared it with me. We talk and agreed to share in this guide. I’ll do my best to make mention of his specific contributions.

So let’s take a look at part 6 of the guide: Continue reading
