Don’t worry, one isn’t taller than the other. That’s just the way these two were packaged. They are the same height. Also, strangely enough, the Red Athlon has it’s weapon showing partially in the window, while the Blue one’s rifle is further down in the package.

Each of Mattel’s 12 inch Halo figure is in a tall slender box with the top half of the figure showing through a window. On the back several of the other figures are shown. Normally there is a thin clear band that holds the figure up higher in the box but, I got ahead of myself and opened it up first. So, I had to put the figure back in to get these two boxed shots. The two holes to the sides of the figure’s head in the cardboard are where the band slots in to.

Special Features: Pod door pops open when pod is dropped (bottom end first) onto a hard surface, folding airbrakes

The packaging displays the door pod and figure quite well. On the back, you see how the drop pod door’s explosive opening happens. It’s a cool feature. Though you don’t need to slam it as hard as it may seem to show.

The Blaze of Glory is one of a rare few of the BoomCo dart guns that has the distinction of having in-game deco. This displays very nicely on the packaging as seen below.

Availability: Mass Retail I got mine from Toys R Us (for $10 due to them going out of business.)

Unlike most of the other BoomCo Halo dart guns, the Carbine is enclosed in the box, with only the darts showing through a small cut-out on the front of the packaging.
Lots of pertinent info on the back of the box showing how to load, charge and firing the gun.
