Build Time: 0-1 minute building, depending on figure. Really, only the Marine needs any kind of “building”.

Here is one of the card backs. Note that Mega has gone to printing only black ink on the card back and not using a gloss finish. This is no doubt a cost saving measure. I don’t mind as we typically do not display carded figures with the card backs visible.

Mega Construx Toy Preview: Halo Heroes Series 12

I’ve just received word today that Halo Heroes Series 12 has been found at Target! be on the lookout folks! In the meantime, the following pics courtesy of MegaConstruxNews via Timothy Jones are for you to check out. Yes, I modified them slightly to fix some of the edges cut off by the original pics. Only the packaging was altered, not contents within.

Mega Construx UNSC Spartan III Customizer Pack

Mega Construx Designer Series UNSC Scorpion Tank

Technical Specifications:
Build Time: 45 minutes to sort, roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours to build. Your time will vary greatly as I took pics along the way for this review. Not to mention, each variant tread and turret has different building times.
Set Piece Count: 1014
Minifigures: Red Spartan Mark IV
Weapons: 5 different variant turrets for Scorpion, Gold 10th Anniversary Rocket Launcher for figure
Accessories: figure baseplate
Special Features: 4 different variant builds of treads
Cost: Between $70-100 US. Depending on where you purchase it from. I got mine from Target for $70.
