I knew about this set several weeks ago but wasn’t allowed to release the information. Now that it’s been photographed at Toy Fair, now I can talk about it. Pics are from figures.com. I cropped and color corrected them for clarity.
This set rounds out the micro fleet sets that we know of so far this year. We already had Green, Silver and Red, now we get the Blue helmet. I’m totally loving the mini Falcon. Great design for a mini build!
The set displayed, it shows the spartan with a sniper rifle. I believe the little turret is the kind found on Snowbound from Halo 3.
What is important to note of this mini fig is that it’s the NEW design, not the classic version. This will throw off your figures matching in all 4 sets. That’s not a detractor for me though. Note the two-piece mold for the chest armor.

Maybe it’s just me but the new scale doesn’t seem as different as I originally thought, are we positive it is a new scale? Or could it just be that the articulation and paint apps and super detail are making them seem bigger? I find it hard to believe that mega would introduce two completely different scales in the same line (micro fleet) in the same year… From the pictures I’ve seen it looks like they’re including figures of the super articulated variety AND normal variety in the same sets… which would be ridiculous if they’re a totally different scale.
