Wow, HFFL had some really good hits yesterday! THANKS!!!

I almost never post the analytics for the blog. It’s not something that I worry about.

However, this is one time I want to, for a couple of reasons.

First the graph:

Hit counter 5-16-14

Above shows the hit count of unique visits per day, over the course of the previous 28 days. If I scrolled over the day, in my analytics program, it would tell me the exact number for that given day. But it’s pretty easy to see what the numbers were averaging from the graph above.

Typically HFFL gets between 2,400-2,600 unique hits a day. The news of Halo 5 Guardians, coupled with the many posts, podcast, etc., that I blogged about yesterday just blew up the hits! Practically doubling that count.

Thanks first and foremost to 343 for releasing the info, so it could be shared.

This just shows that there are still PLENTY of people excited about Halo!!

I want to thank all of you who either found HFFL just yesterday or have been a reader or subscriber for some time.

It warms my heart to know that I may have an impact, however big or small, in someone else’s Halo fandom.

I am still amazed at what my little ol’ 1-person staffed blog means to some folks. It’s nice to get your replies, e-mails, game requests and such.

Thanks again and stick with HFFL. There will be plenty more Halo news to soak in.
