So, HFFL may have a Halo Pro team soon

Last night I was talking with my fellow HFFL gaming group fellows. During the conversation, it was mentioned that MLG may pick up Halo again. That immediately got us thinking about possibly having a pro-team.

I’ve signed up at MLG and several other fellows have too. So we’re moving ahead with this. It may be a little while before it’s official, but I was excited by the potential behind this that I had to blog about it.

In the coming weeks we’ll be looking to get in ‘scrims’, that’s scrimmage matches if you didn’t know, with other teams. Also, we’re looking for a name for the team. SO here’s your chance to have some input. Reply below with your suggestions for a HFFL team name. Nothing vulgar though, please.

More on the team as we progress…

    • Um, no, LOL. A name for the team needs to sound powerful and/or tough. Though we did joke around last night about some potential names. I think the team wouldn’t be taken seriously though if they had a goofy name, even if Halo related.

  1. It should be something powerful, yet simple. The Array would work (an homage to the Halo arrays and, of course, our favorite Chicagoan (sp?) Zach).

I am willing to be a scrim test dummy for you guys. I will try not to die too fast ;).

    • We’ve been kicking around some names. Still need more participation though. Feel free to join in on the thread in the HFFL forums!
