Might he run down the Brute? YOU Decide!megabloks-police-cruiser-standoff-97452-8048This police car is the first actual ‘car’ for Halo that Mega has made. No, I do not count the Warthog as that’s more of a truck, than a car.megabloks-police-cruiser-standoff-97452-8051The brute looks pretty vicious. I love that it’s outlined in Red. That gives him a more ominous look.megabloks-police-cruiser-standoff-97452-8046Here’s the police officer with all of his gear attached. The new articulation is in the shoulders. Now UNSC/Human figures can move their arms inward much further than before.megabloks-police-cruiser-standoff-97452-8047Here’s the officer with his gear off. He looks much like a civilian here. I foresee plenty of custom minifigures coming from the NMPD sets.

If you want to see the directions on how this is built, download it from HERE.

You can view the set on halo.megabloks.com, HERE. As well, you can see it in Mega’s store listing HERE.

The set will retail for $19.99 US and will be available within a few weeks, so be on the lookout for it!

Here’s the text blurb from Mega Bloks about the set:

  1. pretty cool, only if the cop was really smart. He would run over the brute. LOL 🙂

    • That’s about his only option. I don’t think he’s capable of killing the Brute with a weapon and certainly not with his fists.

  2. Is the car in scale with the figures? Because it seems a bit big compared to the NMPD officer. Also, I’m somewhat disappointed that Mega Bloks hasn’t changed the height for the “normal humans/soldiers”. I get that they want everything to be the same height as the old figures but now would be a good time to change the height of the normal humans/soldiers compared to the height of the Spartans and the Covenant. Also, I’m not sure, but I think the Brute Chieftain is outlined in red to represent how you see enemies in Halo 3: ODST when you’re in VISR mode.

    • Actually,. I think the car may be a bit small. But yes, it’s to scale with the figs. If Mega were to change scale, they’d hear a public outcry! LOL. Seriously though, if they were to change any scale, they’d have to make the Spartans bigger. Along with those, the Elites, Brutes, and Hunters would have to be a bit bigger too.
