Halo Nightfall: On set with Kiki Wolfkill

Kiki Wolfkill, executive producer with 343, has been tweeting out pics from the set of Halo Nightfall. Nothing super fantastic…yet. But at least we get to see the location where shooting is happening in Iceland.

As stated, not much shown. Likely because Kiki didn’t want to spoil anything.

Given the teaser image, this could be on a Halo ring.halo-master-chief-collection-wallpaper-1920x1080_nightfall

Now, it could be possible that this is a location for Sanghelios. Why? Well, we know from the trailers that Agent Locke is presumably on Sanghelios. Beyond this though, what is the Covenant known for? Hexagon patterns on the vehicles. It just so happens that there are some great jointed basalt columns in Iceland.

These are strangely enough, naturally occurring rock formations. Less you think these are just in Iceland, here are some shots from around the world.

We’ll see if those play a part in the set location or not. I hope they do. It would be a cool way to explain why the Covenant are particular to hexagon patterns.
