The Female Lead is cast for Halo Nightfall. Her name is Christina Chong. You can see her currently this years ’24’ on FOX.

Let the speculation begin as to what role she may play. The prevailing thought is she will be an ONI officer. Perhaps she’ll be Agent Locke’s love interest. I have a notion that she will be Locke’s AI.

  1. NEW THEORY!!! maybe if she plays Locke’s AI, then Halo nightfall will follow the story of Halo CE. Land on ring. fight aliens. find flood. but with a much smaller team.and it happens on a unfinished or under repaired halo ring. which would explain the werid looking wallpaper. then connecting to halo 5, Locke and AI Chong devolve the same relation ship as chief and cortana. then Locke goes through the same thing as chief. AI dies or something. and cortana is with the person that killed or took AI chong. so Locke and chief work together to stop the guys and get back AI chong and cortana. AKA the guys are forerunner… Just a theory. Plus, she kinda looks like the AI from Halo Wars.

  2. I agree that she looks like Serina (the AI from Halo Wars). But by the time of Halo Nightfall (assuming it is set after Halo 4) she would be well past rampancy.

    To entertain the Halo Wars link further, I think she could also pass for Ellen Enders. Enders would probably be the character most likely to survive all of the events the Spirit of Fire has gone through. I think most everyone on board would realize the knowledge she has gained would make her survival important.

    All that being said, I’m not sure it would be wise to put a lot of fiction from the least played Halo game into a project like this. Too many people who have not played Halo wars would not understand its significance.

    • Ah,, Ellen. Hmm, well considering the tease that Halo: Escalation (the comic book by Darkhorse) gave us with the Spirit of Fire, you MAY just be on to something there. While Halo Wars might be the least played game, it’s a very well done RTS for a console. And with hopes of a Halo Wars 2 ‘escalating’ see what I did there… you never know. I am still thinking she’ll be Locke’s AI. There are many possibilities of course. That’s the fun of speculating. So long as we don’t tout it as fact, until it’s been officially revealed, there’s no harm in guessing.
