Halo Pipe Cleaner figures to be displayed at 2nd Annual HFFL LANstravaganza!

I’ve featured these on the blog several times before. Since the first article of these back in December 2012, I’ve gotten to know the artist.

Not only is Isaiah ‘Rythmic Warrior’ great at making detailed pipe cleaner figures, he’s a Halo gamer.

His Pipe Cleaner Prometheans are pretty darn cool. He has also made Blue Team, which I say looks a little more difficult as Isaiah also included their spartan number on their respective chest plates.

I last featured some of his new figures just last month.

Over the last few months, he’s become a friend as well as a HFFL Gaming Group member. Knowing he wouldn’t be able to attend the LAN this year, he made some of his very unique figures for me to show at the LAN. So without further ado, here are those figures. Oh, and for those coming to the LAN, not only will you see these in person, but perhaps have a chance to win one in the various trivia contests I’ll be holding all day.

These three are of Isaiah’s large figure variety. Each stand roughly 6 3/4 inches tall. They each have a weapon that is removable so they can be swapped out.Pipe Cleaner figs 4 small-hffl wm
Here are the four small versions he made and sent to me. These stand 4 3/4 inches tall. Red and Lime Green are holding BRs, while Chief is holding 2 SMGs (nice Halo 2 reference there!). The Cyan he made specifically for me as black and cyan are HFFL’s colors. That one includes a sniper. I think he made the Lime green one for me as well as that is my second favorite color and I go on and on about that color in Halo Mega Bloks.Pipe Cleaner figs all 7-hffl wm

I asked Isaiah about what goes into making these figures. For the small ones he uses about 20 pipe cleaners between the black ‘skeleton’, color armor, gold visor, and weapon(s). That’s pretty impressive if you ask me. I’ve been inspired to try this myself, though I don’t think I’ll be as successful as Isaiah. He’s got a lot of experience doing these.

Beyond these, Isaiah was also kind enough to make a few of HFFL’s gaming symbol, Valkyrie on Cleft. I’ll be giving one of these away as well.Pipe Cleaner HFFL Symbol-hffl wm

I suggested to Isaiah that he create an Etsy page and sell his work. He’s looking into doing that. When that happens, you’ll see a link to his page on the side blogroll on the main page. In the meantime, you can check out his work from the links above.

Also, he has some non-Halo pipe cleaner figures on his deviant art page. Go check them out!

So a HUGE shout out and thanks to Isaiah for donating these for the LAN.
