In this episode, we talk about all things regarding the Halo Master Chief Collection. The title says it all, the good, bad and ugly. Before you take a listen, I want to point out that I really don’t like having podcasts with a negative tone, this one however does have that tone to a degree that draw from my personal experience with the game as well as my co-host Martin. It also includes anecdotal info from fellow Halo gaming friends of mine and their experience with the game so far.
There are a few cuss words in the podcast, so be forewarned. If you’re under 18, get permission from your parents BEFORE you listen to this.
Martin and I make some strong statements in this episode. One thing I want you all to keep in mind is that HFFL is a blog for Halo FANS by a Halo fan (that’s me). It’s NOT to suck up to Microsoft, 343 and the like. We believe that our podcast needs to be clear about the points we make. This means we say and mean what we say. We don’t try to water things down and sound meal when we are in disagreement with what is going on with Halo. We give praise when merited and we also reprimand. Unfortunately, this episode brings more of the latter, than the former.
I mentioned yesterday that we video recorded this episode as well. I’m working on getting that uploaded on to YouTube. In the meantime, please enjoy the audio cast above.
And don’t forget you can always catch us through iTunes. Search the podcast section for “Spirit of Fire”.

Heh. I am an adolescent and I’ve been exposed to many swear words already in my life so I think I can handle a few from this podcast. 😉 Anyways, it’s absolutely okay to be negative about things when they deserve it. And judging from what I’ve heard (from you and multiple other sources), Halo: The Master Chief Collection quite deserves it.
