We as a species are getting closer and closer to further space exploration. With the hopes of a manned mission to Mars in a few years, we’re taking another step closer to humans colonizing planets other than Earth.

That shot of people walking on a moon of Jupiter, with Jupiter and one of it’s other moons in the background is just breathtaking and awe-inspiring.
You have to wonder then, is this how space exploration started for humanity in Halo?

You posted an article on here a while back about the science of space elevators and how feasible they may actually be – so it was really cool seeing some independent renders of them here. They looked a lot like the ones used in the Halo-verse!
