Not Halo, but damn, this is inspiring for human space travel!

We as a species are getting closer and closer to further space exploration. With the hopes of a manned mission to Mars in a few years, we’re taking another step closer to humans colonizing planets other than Earth.

The following short film gives us a glimpse of what future generations may see in their lifetimes.

That shot of people walking on a moon of Jupiter, with Jupiter and one of it’s other moons in the background is just breathtaking and awe-inspiring.

You have to wonder then, is this how space exploration started for humanity in Halo?

  1. That was AWESOME! Truly beautiful, thank you for sharing it. Also, did you notice the space elevators? You posted an article on here a while back about the science of space elevators and how feasible they may actually be – so it was really cool seeing some independent renders of them here. They looked a lot like the ones used in the Halo-verse!
