Halo 5 Guardians Beta 6-part video series

Part 1 of “Sprint” is available via the Halo Channel right now. Sprint does not mean what you think. It actually refers to a deadline in development of the game. (Well, of a sorts)

The vid on the Halo Channel is about 18 minutes long. The vid below is a short trailer for it.  Take a look, then head on over the the Halo Channel, via your XBOX One for the whole episode!

I watched the whole episode last night. It was pretty cool seeing the Midship remake “Truth” in it’s early stages. Not to mention, I got to see some of the developers I’ve known for a little bit, Tim Diaz and Vic DeLeon in specific.

If and when the whole episode is made available, I’ll post it up here on the blog.

  1. I thought it was very well done and it was interesting to see part of the game design process of which I know almost nothing. One thing that is striking to me is how they were play testing on that rough build at the beginning before it went to art. It was great to see them focusing on the gameplay itself.

I can’t wait for episode 2 tonight. Can’t wait to see Vic and Sparth showing their stuff. (I would pay for a book of all of Sparth’s concepts that he has done. He is amazingly talented.)

    • I hear ya! I like see the design process of things. And yeah, I’d totally by an all Sparth concept art book. I’ve mentioned that to him in the past. I’m a HUGE fan of his!
