Halo Wars now only $4.99 for XBOX Gold subscribers!

While not the free I was helping to petition for, Halo Wars IS now being sold on the XBOX marketplace for an extremely low price of $4.99.

Folks, if you have never played this game, get it. It’s TOTALLY worth it! Even if you have the game, via disc, get the digital version. It’s a great way ensure you’ll have the game loaded on your XBOX ready to play whenever you want to.

Go HERE to purchase from the XBOX Marketplace.

I want to thank Colin Perkins for passing along this intel!

  1. Man, Halo Wars was AMAZING! This is definitely a worthy purchase for this low price!

  2. What?

Uh, no. Why would anyone spend $4.99 just for a slight convenience? Is it that hard just to put the disc into your Xbox 360? I’m sorry, but I just don’t understand that statement.

    • What if you lose the disc? Break the disc? Want to be able to switch back and forth between the game disc you have loaded and this game digitally? Lots of people are trending towards buying games digitally, Wilson. It’s a major convenience for a lot of folks nowadays. $5 to have this game ready at a second is worth it for some.

      • Guess I’m just not one of those people. I have all my belongings well organized and have never broken any of my game discs. I cannot fathom how someone could even break their game disc unintentionally. Someone losing their game I can kind of understand but it’s really the owner’s negligence that they lost the game (the disc and the case it’s in). But I guess that’s why they buy digital?

Anyways, I understand that it’s convenient but for me, that slight convenience is not worth the $5 that could be spent better on other things.
