Mshak sent me this picture of some UNSC recruitment posters featuring the Master Chief, all tagged to hell. The relationship between Spartans and ODST has always been a little shaky, but this seems like something else entirely.
Rumors of discontent across the military and rumblings in the Outer Colonies are detected. A mandatory meeting at ONI branch headquarters takes an unexpected turn.
HFFL: Well, Mr. Giraud has really stepped in something now… His being called into ONI is NOT a good thing. Will the ‘BanHammer’ be dropped on him? OR, Will he be killed for his conversation on Waypoint?
And what do you suppose that Black line is? Some sound canceling invisible wall? What would make the birds be scared away from going into the trees on the ONI campus?
That Mshak is one eccentric fellow. Is he on the right path to the truth though?
I am really beginning to enjoy these weekly messages. Regardless if we know the truth, it’s kind of cool to see how someone else discovers it for themselves and the implications to them and the galaxy at large for knowing that truth.
I have to agree, I’m quickly growing to love these weekly episodes. It’s actually way more immersive and effective at building tension/excitement than I originally thought the campaign would be. Plus, Mshak is voiced by one of my favorite comedians, Kumail Nanjiani!
Him plus Keegan as Giraud, plus Mike Colter as Locke and Kieth David as the Arbiter… with all these celebrities taking on character roles within the canon, it’s starting to feel like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I LOVE it! And 343’s doing a good job of keeping it all connected just like the MCU too.
Excitement!
I too, am starting to immensely enjoy these episodes.
