The packaging for this set shows the contents quite well. Very near everything you get in the set.MB NMPD Cust BOXThis is what you see when you remove the cardiac from the plastic.MB NMPD Cust contents

As you can see, all the weapons and accessories fit easily. I didn’t put the helmets in though. MB NMPD Cust crates

Here is one of the figures with the armor off of it. It can make for excellent custom figures if you so choose.MB NMPD Cust unarmored

Summary: The set needs virtually no building. It’s simply a figure set with extra weapons and accessories. And that’s a good thing!

Overall Rating: I give this set 9.5 out for 10 medals. This set has excellent value. Having 2 figures is already $6-7 of the value. Add in the extra weapons, nades, riot shields and weapons crates, that easily make up for the $1-2 more and you’ve got a solid set.

So why did I give this a 9.5 instead of a 10?
• The only thing I’m not fond of with the NMPD figures are that the human heads have those glasses and hats on them. This is a personal thing though and did not directly impact nor deter my decision to buy the set. I just want regular human heads without hats and glasses so I can customize other figures, namely Spartans, not wearing helmets.

Do I recommend it?  Yes, if you’re into the NMPD sub-line. Even if you’re not, the base figures being all black with exception to the heads and hands makes for great custom fodder elsewhere. The amount of weapons that come with this set can also bolster your armory.
