Long time readers will know that I am a HUGE fan of Concept Art. I love to see where ideas have sprung from before they are polished to the final product. The following are FINE examples of such work!

The richness of colors in this pieces brings a lot of depth to the art.

Locke looks really menacing is this pieces. There’s a good contrast here of light and dark.

The light almost pastel colors here add to a mystical grandeur of this view.

Why are interior shots always dark? LOL. In any case, this seems very foreboding.

Banshees on the hunt for enemies while a massive battle rages below.

ODSTs? Nope, it’s Fireteam Osiris!

Lava environments have become a new staple in Halo.

Is that a craft at top right or a building? It’s massive, whatever it is.

I really like this one. tan tones mixed in with industrial ones as well. A good contrast. This appears to be a concept of the War Zone map shown.

Pretty cool piece here. Is that a Colony ship? Given it’s size, I’d say so. Not the size of the Spirit of Fire of course. 

And once again, Banshees take to the skies. This is one the War Zone map. Those teal-greenish barriers are tall ‘walls’ meant to keep the players within the map space. Kind of looks like an ocean being kept at bay, doesn’t it?-Sal
