Some close-ups of the paint application:

McFarlane Toys did a really good job here by adding small details like the thin line. McF H5G Kelly close-up1

As well, the markings on the forearm and detail on the thigh.McF H5G Kelly close-up2

Weathering is most prominent. Again, more of the gold stripe markings.McF H5G Kelly close-up3

Let’s take a look at a few poses.

Kelly can hold the Magnum with two hands. McF H5G Kelly close-up4

Evaluation
Sculpt: Exceptional! But I expect nothing less from McFarlane as they do get the digital files direct from 343 to use for the sculpt. 10 of 10 medals!
Articulation: Good articulation to it. With smaller shoulder armor, she has slightly more articulation in the arms. The H5G s-1 figs have one drawback with articulation, that being  the hips. Posing, in some natural human poses, can be difficult. (This has remained consistent through the first of the Halo 5 Guardians figures) 8.5 out of 10 medals
Paint Application: Kelly’s armor is nearly all gunmetal grey with exception to those gold markings as noted above. Weathering is very good. She definitely looks like she’s seen more than her share of battles. 10 of 10 medals.
Accessories: The number one thing that stands out here is Kelly’s shotgun. McFarlane Toys could have cheated out and just given us a regular shotgun. HOWEVER, they didn’t! Instead we have a wonderfully detailed Legendary shotgun! The rabbit stems from Kelly’s nickname as she’s the fasted spartan. 10 out of 10 medals
Playability: Another of Blue team, she certainly is worth the posing and playability. If you’re getting Fred and Chief, you MUST get Kelly (and eventually Linda) 10 of 10 medals.
Overall: 48.5 medals out of a total 50 medals.

This figure really is that good. Oh but for the hip articulation, it would have received 50 of 50!!

Do I recommend this product? MOST Definitely! As mentioned above, if you’re getting Fred and Chief, then getting Kelly is a must as well!!
