Im looking for a few great Halo fans to help here at HFFL!

Want to be a part of a Halo Community? Want to help make it grow? HaloFanForLife.com could use your help.

I’m looking for:

  • Talented video editors (Youtube) to help make videos for HFFL. These would include gameplay, news, reviews, and more.
  • Are you a writer? I’m looking for at least two people to write articles for HFFL. Specifically, I need someone who is heavily in tune with Halo eSports. If selected, you would be responsible covering all of the Halo Championship series tournaments. This doesn’t mean you need to go to them. Rather, you would need to post up to date brackets, commentaries on pro gameplay and such. As well, if there are any major roster changes for the popular pro teams you would be expected to report on that. Again, this will require someone who knows the pro scene well, not just someone who is casually interested.
  • Forge specialist. This position will require a person with extensive knowledge of Halo’s Forge.
  • Web Design. Specifically, I’m looking for someone who can design a great Forum. As I don’t want to have to pay for another site, you will need to be versed in how to build Forums using some form of free forum service.

These positions are unpaid. Folks, I make no money on my site. So if you’re looking to get paid, then this isn’t the position for you. However, if you want to help enrich not only HFFL but the Halo community in general, then this could be you.

It will take a serious commitment. As for how many hours a week, that depends on what is going on. During tournaments, that writer will be putting in a lot of time, specifically while the tournament is going on.

For the video editor position, I will be looking to put out between 1-3 videos a week to start. If you’re experienced, then you yourself will have a better grasp on the time needed to do as such.

Positions will require a level of expertise.

  • Video Editors must have an active YouTube channel with at minimum 20 videos on their channel. Your videos will act as your resume. I’ll watch them and decide from there if they are of the quality level I’m looking for.
  • As for writing, previous writing for a fan site is preferred. You will need to provide links. Sites that you wrote for that are currently active are much preferred. You will need references from those sites you wrote for. If you have other professional or semi-pro writing, please provide examples of your work. To do so. You will need to email me those samples.
  • The Forge specialist will need to show me maps that they have created themselves. Maps need to have CTF, KOTH and of course Slayer available to them. If you have some that have one or two of those, that’s fine. I just want to see each game type represented.
    Racing maps are also appreciated.
  • Forum Designer will need to have some proficiency in coding. Graphic design is appreciated, though I can provide that for the most part. You will also be responsible for moderating the forums. To that degree you will have to have been a moderator on a fan site previously and provide references and links to those forums. Active forums folks, not a site that is now defunct.

Needless to say, you MUST have a passion for Halo. This will be evident by your gamer score for Halo games.

You must be 19 years of age or older and have proof of that.

To apply for any of these positions, send an email to [email protected] with at minimum the following information:

First and last name:
Nickname if applicable:
XBOX Gamertag:
Position Applying for:
Relevant links and/or samples of your work:
References from at least two different websites:

If you are selected, you are expected to be a positive representative of HaloFanForLife.com at all times. Likewise, you should promote the site on various social media sites frequently to gain new subscribers and (eventual) forum users.

If you have any questions, please include those in your e-mail application.
