Just a few weeks ago, Team Allegiance and Counter Logic Gaming met in Hollywood, California to determine which team would stand atop the rest as the 2016 Halo World Champion. While only one team came away with the $1 million prize, both teams were to be invited directly into the HCS Pro League as a commendation for their incredible performance throughout the Halo World Championship season and final tournament. CLG’s dominant roster currently remains intact, but the members of Team Allegiance have completely disbanded leaving their spot in the league unfilled.

Today, we’re excited to announce the HCS Pro League Invitational at PAX East 2016 by ESL, which will determine the second team that will receive an HCS Pro League invite. Allegiance players who wore the same jerseys at the Halo World Championship Finals will now be on opposing sides of the stage, pitted against each other until just one team remains. After much practice and deliberation, the players have submitted their new rosters, and we’re excited to share them with you today.
