HFFL’s Official Halo 5 Spartan Company: Progress towards Achilles Armor!

Folks, if you still have not joined a Spartan Company or are unhappy with the one you’re in for whatever reason, consider joining HFFL’s Spartan Company.

We’ve just recently gone over 50 members of the 100 member limit cap.

As well, we are progressing nicely towards the Achilles Armor that is exclusive to only those persons who have joined a Spartan Company AND have completed level 3 in ALL company Kill Commendations. The Helmet is achieved by completing level 5 of all kill commendations.

Here is where HFFL’s Spartan Company stands as of today (4-17-16) click to make bigger of course:

As you can see MOST of our commendations are into the third level with just a few in level 2. The remaining are higher than 3. So the means we are closing in on the Achilles Armor! NOW is the time to join folks! You can NOT get the armor from a company AFTER they’ve already achieved that. So you MUST join it before the company hits that goal.

There are a few simple rules for being a part of HFFL’s Spartan Company:

  • Must be 18. Sorry younger folk, we will likely get rowdy on occasion. So if you join, you are automatically agreeing that you are at least 18 years of age. I nor this group bear any responsibility if you lie about your age.
  • Must have a WORKING Headset/Mic and use it.
  • Must make ‘callouts’ during multiplayer matches. (It’s okay if you don’t know them at first, you will learn. Chances are, I’ll run an online ‘class’ on these, so you can hop in and learn the callouts for maps. Communication during matches is VERY important folks. It’s been the key to winning games against stronger teams for me and friends in the past. Sure, another team might have a few good slayers, but if you communicate effectively, you can eliminate that advantage. Which brings me to the next rule…
  • Must be a TEAM player. None of that Lone Wolf stuff folks. Campaign can be a little different. But for multiplayer, you’ve got to play as a teammate. If I see you Lone Wolfing it, I’ll ask you to alter your game play. Continue to Lone Wolf and I may boot you from the party. Continue in other HFFL game sessions and I may remove you from the Spartan Company. The HFFL Spartan Company is about winning, yes. However, it’s also about having fun. If we lose a game, so long as we played our best as a team, then I’m okay with it. Your skill level isn’t too important as we already have several skilled players. We will all help each other become better Spartans!

Oh and the biggest rule of all, as a member of HFFL’s Spartan Company, you are a representative of HFFL. So act like it folks. Excessive cussing, t-bagging, flipping out through the mic, won’t be tolerated. Sure there are times when you can have a frustrating game. I completely understand that. So the occasional cuss is ok. I prefer we don’t initiate T-bagging. Though, if the other team does it, especially if they are excessive about it, I might let it slide. Use your discretion, though not t-bagging is always preferred. If you have a bad game and are upset. Stop. Take a breath and get your head back into the game. If you feel you can’t play effectively, no worries. Drop out for a bit (not during a match, please…). We’ll get you back in when you’ve had a chance to calm down. Gaming is about FUN, not frustration.

Acceptance to HFFL’s Spartan Company is at my sole discretion. Though I will take input from my Lieutenants in the group.
Once you’ve joined, if you have anyone you’d like to recruit, let me know. We’ll get some games in with them first to judge if they are a team player and a good fit for us.

If once joined, if you have a problem with any other member, please do not fight with them. Bring it to my attention and I will address the situation.
