Halo Toy Preview: Mega Bloks Yankee Squad

I found these pics on a Halo Mega Bloks fan page on Facebook. (Apologies to the page and the owner of these pics for not proper credit) I’ve been sitting on these pics for a good week now and have forgotten who posted them and which fan site. Terrible oversight on my part. As soon as I find out who’s these are, I’ll be sure to properly credit them for their pics.

Yankee Squad is an army builder’s dream! MB UNSC Yankee Squad Preview BOXMB UNSC Yankee Squad Preview BOX back

The set comes with four figures. They are: 2 basic marines, a flame marine and a marine sergeant. Pretty sweet!

The flame marine is featured prominently through the window display on the box front.MB UNSC Yankee Squad Preview figures
This pic also shows Sgt. Forge (NOT INCLUDED) with this set. However, you can see how he ties in with this era of figures nicely.MB UNSC Yankee Squad Preview figures 2
Another shot of the figures (again Forge not included). The flame marine comes with the standard flamethrower it’s had since it first came out, but with a new hose. That was much needed, IMO.MB UNSC Yankee Squad Preview Marine Comparison
For those saying, ‘but we just got a marine in series Delta of the blind packs, it’s not the same. On the left above is the marine with Yankee Squad, while the one on the right is from Delta. Good thing is…you can pop and swap parts here to make an all green marine and a brown/tan marine. You bet I’ll be doing that once I get Yankee Squad!

Price for this should be what is now the standard $15-20 depending on where you buy it from.

I’ll be looking to get at least THREE of this set! How about you??
