And on with the pics! (Click pics to make BIGGER)

The package shows most of what you get in the set through the bubble window on the front. The back shows it all.

This is what you get in the set. 4 figs, figure stands, buildable drop shield and weapons, plus an instruction sheet.

Okay, let’s take a look at the figures!

Mark IV Spartan – Whoops, looks like mine came with too right legs…I have called Mega for a replacement and it’s on the way. Other than that though, it’s a good figure. LOL

UNSC Marine (Blue Base – Warzone Halo 5) – I’m ALWAYS happy to get more marines. My one regret here is that I couldn’t find MORE of this set to get more of this figure! His Red counterpart was in one of the single pack series. I wish this one was given that same treatment. I have at least a half dozen of the reds. Would have liked to have that many in blue. Still, a solid figure!

Brute Minor – Another cool army builder! The color of the armor lends itself nicely for any customizers out there. I do hope Mega makes Brutes the correct size some day. Again, though, happy to have this brute.

Brute Captain (Active Camo) – You folks already know what I’m going to say… I LOVE translucent figures! As you can tell, I had to drop down the lighting for this figure. If I hadn’t, there would have been a lot of light glare and you wouldn’t have been able to see as many of the details in the sculpt.

And the whole set. The Dropshield is the same we’ve had in other sets. The shield itself is or the rarer orange color denoting it’s taken hits and is in danger of dissolving.

Summary: The set is great for army builders since it includes the marine, brute minor and even the Brute Captain.

Overall Rating: I give this set 9.5 out for 10 medals.

Why did I give it a 9.5 out of 10?
• Well, for my set in particular, it had the 2 right legs on the spartan. That aside, I’d rather this set not have the Spartan and instead have another army builder. A blue ODST would have been a good replacement.

My only complaint is that I wanted to army build the marine. I’d have been happy to build up the brute minor and even the Brute Captain. But I just do not need extras of the blue Spartan. Alas, I didn’t even have the choice at retail as I only saw this ONCE and at that, at a Family Dollar store, not at normal big chain stores like Toys R Us, WalMart or Target.

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
• The figures with one weapon and a figure stand each equate to $3.50 each.  $14 total.
• Buildable Dropshield/terrain piece $2.50
TOTAL: $16.50 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)

Given that the set costs $10 US before tax, this is a very good value!

Do I recommend it?  YES. It’s a GREAT set and certainly worth a one-time or more purchase!
