And on with the pics! (Click pics to make BIGGER)

The card art is standard for the drop pod series. The back shows other pods in the series.

Within the pod in the packaging is a small bag of parts, mostly pins to hold it together.

Here are all the parts in the set sorted out and ready to build.

As mentioned, there are several pins in the set. Here you see four of them attached to the back half of the pod. The right side of the pic shows though two halves now combined.

More is added to the pod. Now if you go back to the package shot, it looks like these tails are already attached. They are not. They are just tight in the packaging to give that illusion. Once you remove the pod from the packaging and take off the small rubber band, that pop right off. In this step however, pins are added to the pod, that the tails are then slipped on to.

The fin brakes can be deployed, as shown on left OR folded down.

The shaft of the brakes can be flipped over and inserted into the hole on the top of the pod. This to mostly hide it. If you choose to do this, the figure cannot be inserted into the pod as the shaft gets in the way.

The ODST figure itself is pretty cool. One of my favorite colors is Lime Green. So I’m a little bias here. Also, the helmet attachment is very cool. We rarely get that on ODST figures.

And finally, the whole set.
The ODST has landed and is looking for targets!

Summary: The set is quick build. Just a few minutes. Same build as the other modern pods.

Overall Rating: I give this set 9.5 out for 10 medals.
Why did I give it a 9.5 out of 10?
• I love everything about this set. I just feel it’s maybe a little bland for color/design. Otherwise, it’s a solid set and looks good with all the other drop pods.
• The helmet attachment is the gem of this set. Glad to get another ODST with that on it.

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
• The figure with its weapon and stand is $3.50.
• The Drop Pod I feel is worth $6.50.
TOTAL: $10 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)

Given that the set costs $10 US before tax, I find the value on par.

Do I recommend it?  Yes, especially if you’ve been collecting the drop pods all along and/or are a fan of ODSTs. Again, the helmet really makes this figure stand out.
