And on with the pics! (Click pics to make BIGGER)

The front of the package shows most of the EXO suit pieces, while the back shows much of how the figure is placed inside the suit. The other two EXO suits are also featured on the back.

There is a small tab made into the plastic that you can use to peel away from the card, to get to the set’s pieces.

Inside the package you get the tray of pieces, two small bags of parts, three free floating parts and a small instruction manual.

Here are the pieces all sorted out.

Here’s the marine (nicknamed “Ghost”) with his armor off. You need to remove the armor so you can fit him inside the EXO suit.

Okay, let’s get into the build!

We start by putting Ghost into the back piece. There is a small pin that inserts into the figure’s back to hold it in place.

Next we build the legs and attach them to the back piece of the EXO suit.

The left arm is built and attached.

The right arm is built and attached as well. Note that this is a cannon arm. There is no “human arm” for the right arm.

Here’s where we are at, at this point.

Still more to go though. We build this back section with some big guns.

Attach it…

Here’s a look at that from straight on to the back. That tri-barreled gun is HUGE!

The MARK I Prototype EXO suit is complete!

Orthogonal views of the marine figure, “Ghost”.

And finally a shot of Ghost standing in front of the EXO suit for size comparison.

Summary: The set’s build time is quick. Solid articulation allows for multiple posing and playability.

Overall Rating: I give this set 9 out of 10 medals.
Why did I give it a 9 out of 10?
• I would have liked to have had extra pieces to make a “human” arm to replace the cannon arm if we wanted. That’s about it though. The set itself is very cool!

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
• The figure, it’s weapon and stand I place at $3.50.
• The EXO suit I put at $7.
TOTAL: $10.50 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)

Given that the set costs $15 US before tax, I find this set a little overpriced. I think it should have sold at no more than $12.

It should be noted as of this writing that the MARK I is the hardest to find of the three single packed EXO suits. I believe this is because it has actual concept art attached to it and has lore within the realm of Halo.

Do I recommend it?  Yes. Though slightly overpriced, it’s a fun set and reflects concept art for the MARK I Prototype suit in Halo. If you are collecting the other EXO suits, be sure to pick this one up as well to round out your collection of them.
