Before we move on with the review, it should be noted that there is no in-game Hermes Hammer power up.

On with the pics! (Click pics to make BIGGER)

The window shows the figure, weapons and REQ station nicely. The back shows the specially painted REQ weapons (Spitfire Plasma Pistol, Spiral skinned SMG, Tartarus Gavel Gravity Hammer) 3 other sets.

Inside you get a small bag of parts; in the tray which includes the figure, weapons and one-half of the REQ station; as well as an instruction sheet.

Here are all the pieces sorted out. Note that the translucent smoke piece of the REQ station is removable.

Below is a close-up of the Spiral skinned SMG with the sight and silencer attached. This is a fantastic level of paint printing, given the extremely small size of the weapon.

Here’s a close-up of the top of the hammer. Once again, the detail is fantastic. The ruler shows in centimeters.

Here’s a close-up of the Spitfire Plasma Pistol. Apologies for the quality of the pic. In person, this is again a spectacular level of paint application to a small piece.

Below shows the REQ station with the weapons. You can reposition these as desired.

It is pretty rare that we get a dark grey (or as I prefer to call it “smoke”) translucent Spartan. As you long time readers know, I’m quite fond of translucent figures. So this is a VERY welcome piece to my own collection.

The figure can be posed holding the Grav Hammer in an action swing if you desire!

The figure can of course dual wield the guns (though not in the Halo 5 sadly, LOL).

Summary: The set has virtually no build time. It’s unique weapon skins are a selling point and one in which I suspect many collectors will buy these Power Packs for. If you like translucent figures (As long time readers know I DO!), these sets are for you!

Overall Rating: I give this set 10 out for 10 medals.

Why did I give it a 10 out of 10?
• A rare trans-smoke Spartan!
• The detail painted on the weapon accessories is superb!

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
• The figure with one weapon and the figure stand equates to $3.50.
• The two other skinned weapons are $2 total.
• The REQ Station $1.50.
TOTAL: $7 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)

Given that the set costs $7 US before tax, this is a decent value. It’s right one par with the selling price. The detail on the weapons does add some value here, IMO. So tack on another $1-2 worth of value. This makes the set a slightly better value, in my opinion.

Do I recommend it?  YES! Given the uniqueness of the weapons skins and rare smoke color specific theme of the set, this is a neat set to have in one’s collection.
