The front of the box shows most of the set’s pieces. The back shows the variant armor and how it’s attached. It also shows the Brute Banished weapons set.

In the box you get the tray of figures, armor pieces, lockers, instruction sheet, and hidden within the lockers two figure stands, (shown below).

The included armor pieces are:
Green
Helmets: Air Assault, EVA, Mark V (B)
Torso: Assault/Sapper, Default, Assault/Commando
Shoulder: FJ/Para, EVA, Commando, Jump Jet, x2 Security
Purple
Helmets: JFO, Commando, Operator
Torso: Default, Grenadier, Tactical Patrol
Shoulder: FJ/Para, Commando, Sniper, Jump Jet, x2 Grenadier

For weapons, you get a shotgun and an energy sword.

Below is the instruction sheet that comes with the set.

Here are orthogonal views of the green spartan as it is assembled in the box.

And orthogonal views of the purple spartan, as it is comes in the box.

I should note that if you choose, you can swap the lower arms and legs with each of the other spartans.

Each armor locker can snugly fit the two extra torsos, two helmets and four shoulder armors of each color into their respective colored box.

Yes, you can close the lid on the box with the armor inside and even stack it. This makes for ease of storing.

Below are a few shots of the spartans with variant armor choices on them.

This last green spartan looks much like Emile from Noble Team in Reach. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

And variant purple armor. The top one looking similar to Carter from Noble, but in purple.

Normally I get three of these sets so I can show each torso, helmet, and shoulder in the final pic. I only ever found two though. So I had to settle for this group shot instead.

Summary: A set with no build time, other than swapping armor pieces. If you like armor builder sets, this is a good one. More armor than the smaller locker sets, plus it comes with an additional figure. All for about just $1-2 more.

Overall Rating: I give this set 9.5 out of 10 medals.
Why did I give it a 9.5 out of 10?
• My only ever so small issue is that the forearms and lower legs aren’t the same colors between spartans. I think the creamy white is a bit odd, especially against purple. I’d have rather had them both the grey color. That’s just a personal choice though.

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
• Each figure with a weapon and figure stand is worth $3.00, for a total of $6.
• Each additional armor set (which I define for this set to be a helmet, 2 shoulders and a torso armor, I value at $1.00 each for a total of $4.
• The long lockers I places at 50 cents each for a total of $1 in this set.
TOTAL: $11 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)

Given that the set costs $8-10 US before tax, I find this set a good value!

Do I recommend it?  YES! I like the amount of armor customization available with this set. I’m always happy to have more green armored Spartans.
