I’m going to work for 343!

As some of you know, I’ve applied, via a recruiting agency, for a job with 343. I’m extremely happy to say I got the position.

Details of the position are to remain under wraps for now until I’m allowed to reveal them. In the meantime, I’ve got some serious planning to do. Packing up stuff to move to Seattle (Kirkland), Washington, will be the biggest immediate thing of course. Also april fools day will be second. From there, if you got caught, just admit it. Wouldn’t this have been extremely cool though? Although this article was a joke, my desire to work for 343 isn’t.

  1. I got all excited for you, then depressed that another Halo site would probably disappear, then annoyed that this meant your machinima wouldn’t happen, then felt like a fool for believing all this for a split second. 😛

  2. Aaaaawwww….. good one, totally fell for it. Here I was all excited for you, thinking of writing a post about what an inspiring story this was. Instead I will write a story about how you crushed all my hopes and dreams.

  3. was that your big “reveal” you have been working on for weeks?

    • Ha, no, it was the reveal of “MaC Rounds” itself. Gawd, no, if I actually got the job with 343, I wouldn’t be able to talk about it at all until the deal was completely done.

      • i thought yo mentioned that mac rounds would all depend on something happening in the near future and if that happened, you would not be doing mac rounds. and you would make a big announcement about it.

      • You are correct. That something has/has not happened yet, so I can’t talk about it…yet.

  5. You know, I saw the tweet and work rules be ******* I had to hop on and check. I was worried there/ And of course, I then realized what the date was. It was a D’OH moment.

    Anyway, I do hope you get lucky enough to work for 343. Maybe see if they can use an adequate IT guy. 😉

    • I just realized how that came out. My apologies on that. I meant if you get a job with 343 and they needs an IT guy, put my name in.

      I need to give up humor attempts. I utterly suck at it.
