I’ve got a small Halo project I’m working on and need some simple help with.

Okay the title says it all. Without revealing what the actual project is, I need some pretty simple help and more folks helping will make the project easier.

I need to know what/who all retail and other businesses 343 has been in partnership with to bring Halo to us.

Here are the ones I have:
343 (self explanatory)
Microsoft (self explanatory)
Doritos (Double XP promotion)
Mountain Dew (Double XP promotion)
Mega Bloks (Major Halo toy licensee)
McFarlane Toys (Major Halo toy licensee)
Certain Affinity (Development company who provided many of the multiplayer maps we have in Halo 4. As well they did work on Halo CE: Anniversary

Now, I don’t need small companies/businesses that most people wouldn’t know of, just the ones that are pretty famous. All will become clear once I have the project done.

I will say that it has to do with the next Halo game on the XBOX One!

Thanks in advance for any help you all can give.

  1. Jada Toys (Halo vehicle toy licensee)

V Energy Drinks (Microsoft promotional marketing prior to Halo 4 release. This may have been an Australian-only-promotion. On the can it only says ‘licensed by Microsoft’ nothing about 343i)

Fairly sure 343 had a small partnership with Weta industries to bring that special Halo 4 event in Zurich, Switzerland. (The warthog was owned by Weta and possibly the Master chief suit)

    • I have Jada in mind. Though they only made a few Halo toys. I don’t know of the second one. Likely is Australian only. Weta while having made a Warthog and a few exquisite statues hasn’t been a powerful force in the marketing of Halo. What I’m looking for are internationally known businesses that have partnered up. Again, it will make a lot more sense when I reveal what I’m working on. Preferably the business in partnership are still in partnership or in the case of Doritos for example, would likely have a renewed partnership once the next Halo game gets close to launch.

      • Ah yes I see what you mean now. The V energy drinks were fairly big thing over here in AUS. There is a chance to renew the partnership for the H5 launch but I wouldn’t put my money on it.

What about Virgin gaming? Who’s to say that they won’t do another worldwide tournament. Chances are they might end up renewing the partnership.

And how about the Arena Gaming League? 343i is really close partners with them right now. I believe there have been 8 tournaments to date.

      • Hmm, Virgin gaming might fit, but then again not really. AGL definitely not. Again, once I reveal the project it will be understood why. Again, thanks for the suggestions. I had forgotten about Virgin. (Guess that’s what happens when a major contest goes awry.) Did we ever find out who won the Spartan Ops portion of that tournament in January?

  2. I guess i’ll have to wait until the reveal what it is you’re doing.

Not that I can remember, there was no big announcement for the winners. Bs angel just mentioned a couple of Bulletins ago that the custom design Halo 4 truck was on its way to Strongside for winning the MP part.

    • Yeah, the Multiplayer winner has been known for some time. It’s teh Spartan Ops portion of the contest I’m interested in knowing the outcome of.

    • No…You’ll see. I’m developing the pitch for the project now and hope to present to 343 within a very short time.

  3. Axis Animation did all the cut scenes and videos for Spartan Ops.

      • That’s just it though, they do this for a lot of games. I looking more for those business who primarily deal with 343 or have a prominent license with them. So Havok would be out. Thanks again though.

    • I thought of them. If they do anything for the next Halo game, then I’ll consider them for this project. Thanks for the suggestion.
