In this week’s episode, you get a better look at two forge maps you can vote on for week three of the Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta (Orion and Pegasus respectively).

Kevin Franklin of 343 makes the Forbes 30 under 30 list!
I had the pleasure to meet Kevin back at New York Toy Fair 2012. Even played a few games of Halo 4 with him. Seems he’s made the Forbes list of 30 under 30.
Below is a screenshot of his entry on the list. You can see the full article HERE.
Thanks to HFFL reader ‘Chad’ for giving me the link to this.

If any of you happen upon the key to this puzzle, please do share. I’m sure fellow Halo fans would like to know what this means.

The Halo Bulletin 12.5.14
Man, would you look at all of that great Halo swag! On my wish list are three of the things talked about. The NECA 18in Master Chief, Halo Astro Headsets, and the HMCC Poster Art book.
I’m enjoying the new style for the bulletin. It’s refreshing to actually SEE the folks behind the franchise.
So what are your thoughts on the video format? Or this bulletin in particular? Reply below!
Special thanks to Rhythmic Warrior for reminding me about this.

Looks like we’re going a second week without a Halo Bulletin…
For what appears to be the second week in a row, Waypoint hasn’t released a bulletin online. If it pops up on the Halo Channel, I’ll post what I can of it. Otherwise, another week goes by.
This is disconcerting as when the Halo Channel launched, 343 themselves promised current up-to-date information, this including weekly bulletins. Continue reading

The Halo Bulletin 11-7-14: Your Journey Begins
At the time of this writing, there are approximately five days left until the 11th day of November. In past years, this date may not have held great significance, but if you’re like us, you may have had a figurative “X” on the calendar since June of this year.
In just five days’ time, experiences both familiar and new await. On its 10-year anniversary, Halo 2 will return to Xbox Live, and bring with it a broad package of games and content. A newly re-mastered Campaign as well as a suite of re-mastered multiplayer maps have been prepared in Halo 2: Anniversary. Halo: Combat Evolved will make its Xbox Live debut, and perhaps even provide an opportunity for some of you to play the game that started it all for the first time. Halo 3 and Halo 4 (along with all other titles) will make their Xbox One debut in full HD at 60fps. The Halo Channel will be your new home for entertainment and programming, including the first episode of Halo: Nightfall. In addition, new terminals, hundreds of achievements, and more await. Your journey is about to begin, and we hope you’re as excited as we are.
This week, we have a few new topics to cover, including skulls, LASO playlists, ranks, a new eSports league, and more. Let’s get to it. Continue reading
