It’s now day 8 of my Halo minimalist art series and I’ve been excited to unveil this one. Were you able to guess the subject of today’s art? Obviously by the title is Tom Lasky. Here he’s shown as his Commander rank during the campaign of Halo 4. Lasky as we all know goes on to become the Captain of the UNSC Infinity<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Minimalist<\/a><\/p>\n

I made Lasky with 7 colors, though 2 of them are used sparingly. I really like how this one turned out. The uniform colors helped greatly with the shading of this piece which made it easier to render.<\/p>\n

Here’s day 9’s preview. Do you have a guess as to who, what it is?<\/p>\n

Given the profile you may be able to guess the race, but do you know WHO it is??? It’s not Lasky flipped horizontally, I can tell you that.<\/p>\n

I recreated these in Adobe Illustrator using some fun techniques and refining some of the shapes. I tried to use as few colors as possible yet show enough detail so that each character was instantly recognizable.<\/em><\/p>\n
