First, apologies to you folks that I haven’t posted much in a couple of days. I’ve been going through a rough patch. Seeing that the fundraising effort fell flat, put me in a depressed mood. To further that, the money I have saved for 5 months for an XBOX One will be gone to cover the expense of the LAN. This has caused me to be further depressed.<\/p>\n
Beyond\u00a0that, I got some news yesterday that was both disappointing and disconcerting.<\/p>\n
This is a time when I should be happy. The yearly LAN is just over two weeks away, my birthday following not two weeks later. Then the anniversary of the blog itself. Not to mention watching the events of PAX \u00a0(I won’t be attending, just as I haven’t attended any conventions at all this year.)<\/p>\n
I could go into a long discussion why I’m feeling down beyond what is mentioned above. Instead, one word puts this squarely into perspective regarding how I feel I’m being perceived within the Halo community. ‘Insignificant’<\/p>\n
I had written out so much more for this article. However, I’ve chosen to only include the above. I just wanted you folks to know that I’m still here. I just needed to take a\u00a0day’s break\u00a0and try to make sense of some things.<\/p>\n
