I recently picked up the Sprukits Master Chief Level 2 model kit. I only bought it because it was Master Chief. I have never built any kind of model before so this was a new experience for me. <\/span><\/div>\n

\n<\/a>The box comes with 109 pieces and you need no glue or tools for the build. It says its for 8 years\u00a0 and older.<\/span>

I think I would be to difficult for a kid that young because the several of the pieces are smaller than a eraser on the end of a pencil( a few are smaller than a small house fly). <\/span><\/div>\n

Also the instructions contain no words during the building process. If you hate trying to decipher pictures do not get this. At the top of the page of instructions it says “Do not remove pieces until you need them” <\/span><\/div>\n

Follow this advice as the pieces disappear very quickly once removed. It took me around an hour to build including disruptions. You build each part of the body and then attach them together. I do like how the pieces are numbered so you know exactly which one to get. They\u00a0also\u00a0try to group\u00a0all the pieces together\u00a0for each step. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

After Master Chief is all done\u00a0he comes to about 5.25 inches tall. This was somewhat of a let down as the box does not give the size of the model. It includes extra hands, assault rifle and a pistol. He can hold each weapon or they can be attached to him. The pistol at the hip( it just hangs of a little hook, and the assault rifle attaches to his back. It is very ‘Posable” all the joints are movable and stay where you put them. He also stands on his own without the included base if he is balanced properly.<\/span><\/div>\n

Overall I was slightly let down with this kit due to the size verses cost($20 MSRP). I did enjoy putting it together and it is very detailed for a plastic model. Would I buy the other Level 2 kits\u00a0 available( Spartan Thorne and Commander Palmer)? Not at $20 a piece I wouldn’t. Will I buy the Level 3 Master Chief when it comes out in the fall? Probably. If you enjoy models like this or just a big collector of Halo ( if not you are probably at the wrong website) get this for your collection. The box looks nice even if you never open it.<\/span><\/div>\n

HFFL:<\/strong> I think this was a fair assessment. I haven’t built a model like this is some time, though I used to do this a lot in my youth. I’d like to own it, but am not sure if I’ll get one or not.<\/span><\/div>\n
