There are 10 different controller configurations to choose from in Halo 5 Guardians. Which will you choose??<\/p>\n

With the addition of Smart Link, Issue Orders, and Tracking, Halo 5 Guardians needed to have a robust menu of choices for controller configurations. Your favorites have returned of course. However, they have arms additional buttons to press due to the add-ons.<\/p>\n

Let’s take a look at each config (click to make graphics bigger):<\/p>\n

Default

\n<\/a><\/strong>Hmm, this one seems a little confusing for me.\u00a0But I’m used to a couple other controller settings.<\/p>\n

Southpaw
\n\"HaloSouthpaw\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>For those that fight with settings switch to the other hand, here is your config.<\/p>\n

Recon
\n\"HaloRecon\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>This one might be my choice. It’s pretty close to the configs I’m used to for Halo. Though the placement of the ‘Switch Grenade’ button isn’t optimal for me.<\/p>\n

Green Thumb
\n\"HaloGreenThumb\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>Hmm, does anyone use this? None of my friends that I know of use this config.<\/p>\n

Boxer
\n\"HaloBoxer\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>I’m so used to firing with the right and tossing nades with the left, not to mention melee on the right. I don’t think I could get used to this one.<\/p>\n

Bumper Jumper
\n\"HaloBumperJumper\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>Okay, I’ve tried this in the past and never quite got the hang of it. However, Halo 5’s config looks like something I might just be able to get used to.<\/p>\n

Halo 4
\n\"Halo4\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>This is another I might\u00a0possibly use. Again though, the Switch Grenade just isn’t in a post I’d like it to be.<\/p>\n

Fishstick
\n\"HaloFishstick\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>This one is another odd choice for me, personally. I’m too used to using the right stick for crouching.<\/p>\n

Pashooter
\n\"HaloPashooter\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>Well just as the bottom line says, “Green Thumb with crouch and sprint swapped.”<\/p>\n

Helljumper
\n\"Helljumper\"
\n<\/a><\/strong>Interesting, though again for me, I can’t quite get used to the right thumbstick for melee.<\/p>\n

So after going through all of these, I think I am either going to go with Recon or Halo 4, for my config.<\/p>\n
