He knew that I needed this variant color Athlon figure, found it, bought it and sent it to me. He did this, with no thought of being paid back. Bobby, thank you VERY much!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I keep trying to nail down why I like the Athlon armor so much. I think it’s due to it being somewhat like futuristic football gear.<\/p>\n

This variant Blue\/White Athlon looks nearly as good as the Black and Yellow one. (I’m partial to Black and Yellow though as I’m a Pittsburgh native and fan of all the sports teams which sport black and yellow as their colors.<\/p>\n

\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

In the package you get the figure, 2 weapons and a code for a REQ pack in Halo 5 Guardians.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

You get a Magnum and SMG to arm your Athlon with.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

Orhogonal views of the figure. It’s symmetric.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

As you can see here, you can attach each weapon to the thigh. This is done by a small pin \u00a0that is with the weapon. That pin is removable, by the way.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

Ah, if only dual wielding were possible in Halo 5 …. Also, this shows the hole where the pin goes on one of the thighs.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

The figure can hold an SMG with two hands nicely.\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

Is it time to DISCO??? LOL\"McF<\/a><\/p>\n

Evaluation<\/strong><\/span>
\nSculpt:\u00a0<\/strong>There is no way I can fault any of the sculpt here. It’s fantastic! 10 of 10 medals!
\nArticulation:\u00a0<\/strong>The Athlon has slightly better articulation in the shoulder due to the smaller shoulder armor. The H5G s-1 figs have one drawback with articulation, that being \u00a0the hips. Posing, in some natural human poses, can be difficult. (This has remained consistent through the first of the Halo 5 Guardians figures) 8.5\u00a0out of 10 medals
\nPaint Application:\u00a0<\/strong>The paint here is pretty good. I like the metallic blue. Though the white is a bit dull. 9\u00a0of 10 medals.
\nAccessories: <\/strong>It would be nice to get something other than Magnums and either an AR or BR. But as these are typical loadout weapons it makes sense. 9 out of 10 medals
\nPlayability:<\/strong>\u00a0I am really enjoying this figure. It can be pose in many\u00a0positions. 10 of 10 medals.
\nOverall:\u00a0<\/strong>46.5 medals out of a total 50 medals.<\/p>\n

This figure really is that good.\u00a0Have a better White color, or a different color altogether, fix the hip articulation and maybe a power weapon for the variant and this fig would have got a perfect 50 or 50.<\/p>\n

Do I recommend this product?\u00a0Heck yeah!!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
