The box front has a very large display window. This is great for those who want to know what comes in the set. As well, for those folks who plan on keeping the set in the box, it’s great to have a large window like this , so they can appreciate the contents, without having to open it up.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

The back shows off the figures nicely as well. Though I do wish there would have been those little vignette pics of each spartan head with the name of each one. Not for me, but I know it would help fans\/collectors\/kids and parents alike.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

This is everything you get in the box. Behind the display tray unseen in the box are the insctruction sheet, and the 2 bags of parts, seen below.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

The parts build quickly into two separate areas. The one with the flag for the Spartans, while the one with the Watcher, for the Prometheans.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Here are the UNSC weapons you get with the set: Sniper, Hydra, Shotgun, BR, SMG, DMR, 6X Frag grenades, 2X Magnums.\"MB
\n<\/a>All of the UNSC accessories can fit in the crate easily.<\/p>\n

Next the Promethean weapons: Binary Rifle, Incineration Cannon, Scattershot, Boltshot, LightRifle, Suppressor, 4X Spllinter Grenades\"MB
\n<\/a>All of the Promethean Weapons fit into the crate. Unfortunately, the grenades do not.<\/p>\n

Okay, let’s look at those figures!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prometheans<\/span>
\nWatcher<\/strong>\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Soldier <\/strong>As there are four of the same, I’m only showing one here.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Sniper<\/strong> The only 2 differences between the Sniper and the Soldier are the head and that the SNiper has blue stripes on it’s shoulders.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Crawler<\/strong> You get 3 of the same in this set. I’m only showing one here.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Alpha Crawler<\/strong> The 2 differences between the Alpha and the regular crawler figures are the head and the back piece.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Spartans
\n<\/strong><\/span>Recruit<\/strong>\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Recon<\/strong>\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Warrior<\/strong>\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Defender <\/strong>(There is a LOT of detail in that visor!)\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Mark VI Gen 2<\/strong> Ok, yes, Master Chief wears this armor, but I’m calling it Gen 2 because it’s way different from the Mark VI that Chief wore in Halo 3.\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Soldier<\/strong>\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

And finally the whole set. I elected to rearrange my baseplates to make on larger defensible position for the Spartans!\"MB<\/a><\/p>\n

Will the be able to survive the onslaught of that Promethean Strike??<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summary:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>This set is a quick and \u00a0easy build. A LOT of figures for the cost with a great array of weapons rounds out a fantastic deal!<\/p>\n

Overall Rating:<\/strong>\u00a0I give this set 10\u00a0out for 10 medals.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Why did I give it a XX\u00a0out of 10?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 This is a fantastic set! Army builders will LOVE it. FOlks who collect Spartans will LOVE it! Folks who custom paint spartans will definitely love it. Want several big baseplates? You will love it too!<\/p>\n

Let me break down my opinion of the value of this set. (In US dollars)<\/span>
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Each Spartan and Promethean Solider\/Sniper figure with one of the weapon each and a grenade (in lieu of the usual figure stand) $3.50 each.\u00a0Total of $38.5.
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Regular and Alpha Crawler $2.50 each. Total $12.50
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Watcher with light shield, clip pin and clear rod $3
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Extra Weapons 25 cents each. Total 75 cents
\n<\/strong>\u2022 UNSC and Promethean Crates with lids $1.50 each. Total $3<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Baseplates (large) 75 cents each. Total $3.75
\n<\/strong>\u2022 2×4 plates 10 cents each. Total 30 cents<\/strong>
\nTOTAL: $61.80 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Given that\u00a0the set only cost $35 U.S. before tax,\u00a0this set is WELL WORTH the retail cost.<\/p>\n

Do I recommend it?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>YES YES YES!!!\u00a0If you want to build a small army of Promtheans, THIS is the set you want! Yes, they are in the blue form, a color not seen in the games for the soldiers and sniper, but still VERY cool. Getting SIX Spartans as well in a set? \u00a0Folks, normally for a multi-figure pack we pay $20 and it comes with only FOUR figures. This set comes with 11 standing figures, 4 crawlers and a Watcher! Not to mention all the accessories and baseplates!! Oh and that awesome Mega Bloks emblem flag!!!
\nIMO, this set is worth the price just for the Promethean figures, even if it did not include the Spartans! Conversely, if you want just Spartans, it’s every bit as much worth it too!
\nYou’re getting all that\u00a0merchandise for 60% of normal \u00a0cost. That’s a GREAT deal! And thats BEFORE a sale even!!<\/span>
