As with each Halo Heroes Series before, there are 6 figures in this series. Captain Cutter and Decimus are the representatives for Halo Wars 2, Dare gets an official figure. (There have been a couple of pseudo Dare’s before, but none directly named as such.) Madsen is the next to last of Fireteam Majestic to be made now. Then we have the customary 2 Spartans. In series 4, that’s a Wetwork and an Argus.\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Each figure comes with an insert sheet depicting the characters within that series. As well as basic guideline on how to build the figure (should it come apart), as well as directions for the stand.
\n\"Mega<\/a>\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Since each figures stand is the same, with exception to the name printed on it, I’m only showing one of those here. Of course the weapon changes from figure to figure as you will see below.\"Mega
\n<\/a>The horizontal post can be put into the figure’s back for dynamic posing!\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Captain Cutter
\n<\/strong><\/span>The venerable Captain Cutter, Commanding Officer of the Spirit of Fire<\/em>, gets a figure! As will all the cards in the series prior and within this series, the figure is displayed very well within the plastic and shows nearly all the\u00a0pieces within the set.\"Mega
\n<\/a>It’s tough to make a figure with elbow joints where the character has sleeves. I think Mega did a good job here with what they were given. Cutter lacks armor, that why this set only has 20 pieces to it.
\nFor the figure itself, I’d have preferred a more olive green to the uniform, but it still looks good. The old UNSC emblem on the hat is a fantastic addition. It’s such a small area to print on, that had it not been there, I don’t think many would have complained. So kudos to Mega!\"Mega
\n<\/a>Though Cutter lacks armor, he DOES come with something special. That being Isabel, the new AI of Halo Wars 2! I may be mistaken here, but this could be the same mold as the micro Cortana, just done in the appropriate translucent orange for Isabel.\"Mega
\n<\/a>Regardless if its a reused mold, it fits in quite well here. I’m VERY happy that Mega included her with Cutter, rather than putting it in a massive set that would make it harder for some folks to get.\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Dare (ONI)
\n<\/strong>As you can see, Dare comes with her helmet. I’ve chosen to pose her without it for this review as she barely wears it in the ODST campaign.
\n\"Mega
\n<\/a><\/strong>Take note that head is the very same as Palmer’s, with just a recolor of her hair. The only thing I wish were included here is the headphone Dare sports in the game. The color of the armor is fantastic! Were she to have come with ODST shoulder armor, she’d have made for a GREAT base ODST figure to army build. I’m going to get another of her and repaint her hair to match Palmer. I’m sure I have a spare ODST helemt somewhere. This way I can make an ODST Palmer to mark her origina story. I’ll get yet another to pose Dare with her helmet on for display.\u00a0\"Mega<\/a><\/strong>Dare can hold her weapon AND her helmet rather easily.\"Mega<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Spartan Madsen<\/span>
\n<\/strong>The fourth official figure from Fireteam Majestic, Madsen does not disappoint!
\n\"Mega
\n<\/a>The amount of detailed paint application on this figure is increible given the size.\"Mega
\n<\/a>Note that there is the Majestic emblem on the left shoulder armor. Madsen’s Sniper Rifle is two-toned dark grey and black. A nice touch!\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Decimus<\/span>
\n<\/strong>He’s big, he’s mean and his face is scarred! You don’t want to mess with Decimus! But you DO want to collect his action figure!! Decimus comes with a cool color variant of the standard Gravity Hammer.
\n\"Mega
\n<\/a>While Brutes should be at least a head and a half taller than humans, this figure still looks imposing with the buffed out armor. It marks the colors of the Banished, a rogue group of former Covenant who are led by Atriox.\"Mega
\n<\/a>Decimus weilds his Gravity Hammer with strength and precision. You don’t want to be on the recieving end of that!\"Mega<\/a><\/p>\n

Spartan Argus Arestor<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe name for this figure refers first to the armor (Argus), then to the paint application or “skin” as it’s called in the game, (Arestor). This armor is one of the first for Argus. You can also find it in Fireteam Shadow and the (as of this writing) rare Blue Team set in the form of Linda!
\n\"Mega
\n<\/a>I have to say, this is some incredible paint application here. The blue even has a nice metallic sheen to it.\"Mega
\n<\/a>Not only does the figure have a great paint app, so too does the Battel Rifle. It’s sporting the “Prestige” skin from Halo 5.\"Mega
\n<\/a>\"Prestige<\/a>
\n<\/a>I’m very happy with this figure. The deco on it really sells it for me!<\/p>\n

Spartan Wetwork Cleaner<\/span>
\n<\/strong>As with the Argus, this spartan is identified by it’s armor first (Wetwork), then it’s skin variant (Cleaner). The Wetwork helmet is one that I’ve really wanted made. \u00a0While the visor isn’t typical for spartans, I really like to angle shapes of the helmet. I’ve got a special custom planned for the next Wetwork I get…
\n\"Mega
\n<\/a>The Wetwork doesn’t just sport red and white, but also a darke brick red, not to mention the silver sliver of a visor. Once again, I’m really impressed with the paint app here. \"Mega
\n<\/a>Wetwork comes with one of the NEW style Fuel Rod Guns, this being the Light of Urs variation!\"Mega<\/a>\"Light<\/a><\/p>\n

Summary:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>There is next to no build time with these figures as it’s just the stand to put together. Paint application and choice of characters really makes the whole of Halo Heroes shine and this particular series matches right up there!<\/p>\n

Overall Rating:<\/strong>\u00a0I give this set 9\u00a0out for 10 medals.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Why did I give it a 9\u00a0out of 10?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 One of my two minor issues is that I’d have preferred Cutter’s Uniform to be more Olive green than straight green.
\n\u2022 The other is that the helmet of the Wetwork spartan is a shade different Red than much of the rest of the armor, so it stands out a little.<\/p>\n

That’s it though. Overall the whole series is SOLID in it’s execution.<\/p>\n

Let me break down my opinion of the value of this set. (In US dollars)<\/span>
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Each figure with one of the weapons each $3.50 each.
\n\u2022 The buildable stand is made of 4 pieces. Normally this would mean a value of 40 cents for the complete stand. As each stand however comes with the name printed on the large black piece, I put the value of the whole stand at $1.
\nTOTAL: $4.50 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The price of $5 (average retail U.S. price) is just slightly over that. Since each figure comes on it’s own specific card with corresponding character artwork, I can waive the 50 cents difference due to that.<\/p>\n

Do I recommend it?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>YES! Halo Heroes is one of the very few things I collect both a carded and another to open. THese IMO, are highly collectible, especially if kept in the package.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
