The box art has an imposing shot of the cyclops, with a window that shows the figure inside. The back shows how the cockpit opens as well as the firing feature of the shooting arm.\"\"<\/a>

You get several bags of parts and an instruction manual in the box.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here the pieces are sorted out. There are no new pieces per say. The large grey shields may seem new. However, they are the very same shield pieces used in the Covenant drop shield. This time they have printing on them and are solid instead of translucent.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Okay, let’s get into the build.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First, I will say, I’m a bit bias for this set. I LOVE the color scheme! (This stems from me being from and living in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where our pro teams wear colors very similar to this yellow\/black. Okay, that said…<\/p>\n

As with previous Cyclops builds, we start at the foot and work our way up. This is built the same as cyclops in the past.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Next the torso. Again, no changes to the build.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Finishing up the torso, we build the back. Beyond the back itself having slight changes (as each cyclops does) the long angular clips (see far right bottom) are now placed at the back mid section, instead of on top of the shoulders. I REALLY like that. It helps to build up that portion of the body. Now I want to go back and get more of those clips for my other (older) Cyclops too!\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here we see the cockpit where the pilot stands. The chest folds up, while the windshield folds down, to form the enclosed area of the cockpit.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The legs and torso are attached. Of note as with all cyclops, the windshield in NOT transparent.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With every new cyclops, we get different attachments for the arms. In the case of the Corporate Security version, we get a firing arm and a shield arm. Pretty cool! As noted above, the grey shields are indeed the very same covenant drop shield pieces, now solid and with printing on them.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The firing arm comes with 3 plastic bolts but can only fire one at a time. Then you must unclip another to reload the firing mechanism. Top left of the pic below, you see the stud circle with “Mega Bloks” on it. You press down on this to shoot the center bolt.\"\"<\/p>\n

And finally, the whole set! This Mech just looks fantastic! Again, I’m bias for the colors. As this is a Corporate mech, you could choose to take the gun and shield off and give that to another cyclops. This mech could be used for load lifting instead.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Summary:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>A standard build for the most part, this cyclops is easy to put together. It fits well in the Halo universe, now that Halo 5 has brought corporations owning instruments of war, into its lore. The shield arm is new and looks great!<\/p>\n

Overall Rating:\u00a0I give this set 9.5 out for 10 medals.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Why did I give it a 9.5 out of 10?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 This is being\u00a0nit picky\u00a0here.<\/strong> Instead of calling the figure a UNSC marine, I’d have preferred it calls a corporate pilot. It does not bear the colors of the UNSC at all. As for the set itself though, yes, that gets a 10!<\/p>\n

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Figure with one weapon and figure stand equates to $3.50<\/strong>.
\n\u2022 The Cyclops itself is worth $13 given the amount of parts with the additional ones for the gun arm and shield arm.
\nTOTAL: $16.50 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Given that the set costs $16 US before tax, this is a good value and right on par with the piece count!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do I recommend it?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>OH YEAH! My bias for the colors aside, the shield arm is really cool. The now back clips help to fill out the lower body and I’m always happy to get more marines. Even if they aren’t in typical UNSC colors.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
