Atriox, leader of the Banished looks imposing through the window on the front of the box! The Build-A-Figure Grunt legs are hidden behind some of the graphics on the front of the box.The back shows all of the contents, as well as the other figures in Series 2. It also shows the corresponding parts for the Build-A-Figure Imperial Grunt.\"\"<\/a>Here’s the plastic tray with the figure, armor parts and accessories along with the instruction manual. Oh, I should have noted this before. The instruction manual is usually sitting behind the yellow cardboard insert (seen through the window above). So if you don’t find it right away, look there!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As with the other figures from series 2, all armor is removable! Of note, the paint application here is fantastic! Though mostly silver, there are some brown and black areas well. What makes this even better though is the “pitting” of the armor. That makes it look really battle worn!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Don’t tell Atriox I got a pic of him without his armor on! Seriously though, he looks huge, even without it on! The right forearm\/hand does not have removable armor. That’s fins as it’s game accurate. Note Atriox uses an ODST’s chest plate for his abdomen armor as well as ODST shoulder armor for his knees. Yeah, he’s THAT big! Hmm, I wonder what poor ODST lost his armor (and likely his life) to Atriox? Lore fans, get on that!!\"\"<\/a>As if Atriox isn’t big enough without the armor, here he is in full regalia! Dude is one Brute you DON’T want to mess with!\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The articulation of the figure is amazeballs! Yes, even though Atriox is top-heavy, he can easily be posed on one foot! Here I did my best to show him starting into a lunge\/jump.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Each figure from series 2 includes different parts for the Grunt. Atriox will get you the Legs<\/strong>\u00a0for the Imperial Grunt. I’ll have the review of that figure after I’ve reviewed all the other figures from this series. Atriox’s Gravity Mace is VERY cool! Note that it has translucent red blades! I’m SO glad Mattel didn’t just make those a solid red. To the right, I show a top down view of the Mace as well as the official Banished logo. See the resemblance? Now you know why that’s their logo, if you didn’t already.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Grunt pieces are the pair of legs. These are not duplicates folks. They are indeed a right and a left leg!\"\"<\/a>There are two plastic pins (as seen in the small plastic bag above). Each figure has these pins for similar usage.<\/p>\n

Evaluation<\/strong><\/span>
\nSculpt:\u00a0<\/strong>Excellent\u00a010 of 10 medals! (Can I give it an 11?) LOL<\/strong>
\nArticulation:\u00a0<\/strong>This figure has articulation that now fairly standard for Mattel Halo figures. 10 out of 10 medals Same here…should be an 11!<\/strong>
\nPaint Application:\u00a0<\/strong>The paint on Atriox’s armor has a sheen to it. The added pitting effect as mentioned above really makes the armor look battle tested and worn.\u00a010<\/strong>\u00a0of 10 medals<\/strong>
\nAccessories: <\/strong>As Atriox is only known for having his Gravity Mace, it makes sense that that’s his only weapon. It’s SO well done. As a fan of translucent toys (as you longer time readers know), I’m especially happy that the blades on the mace are se-through and not just painted red.\u00a010 out of 10 medals<\/strong>
\nPlayability:<\/strong>\u00a0Tons of posing possibilities. 10 of 10 medals<\/strong>
\nOverall:<\/strong> 50 medals out of a total 50 medals. (though it could easily be 52…LOL)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do I recommend this product? 100% YES! Atriox is the GEM of\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>series 2, in my opinion. Everything about this figure is so well done. This is a MUST own Halo figure, IMO!\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
