Some armors have their place, some that might be considered for returning or not, some shouldn’t return for various reasons.\u00a0That said, I do realize that real people put in work to make these. So I try to take a light approach with armors I’m not fond of.<\/p>\n
I’ve split this subject into four articles. I’m not including the skinned versions of armors as skins can relatively easily be changed. This topic is more about the form and functionality of the armors themselves, than their skins.<\/p>\n
Here are the categories I made up for this series of articles:<\/p>\n
- \n
- Angular Armor: Armors with sharp angles to them<\/li>\n
- Bulky Armor: Large armors that often make the Spartan look even more oversized<\/li>\n
- Character Armor: Armors worn by named characters in the Franchise<\/li>\n
- Standard and Thin Armor: Standard I deem as roughly humanoid, not too bulky or thin. Thin being those armor that are small on the Spartan in one way or another<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Part 3 covers 24 “Character” armors.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
These armors are all worn by characters within the games. Some by playable characters, others by NPC’s or cut-scene characters. Regardless, they are all named and important to the lore of Halo.<\/p>\n

\nBuck’s Spartan armor. While I personally would have preferred he wear an armor that harkens back to his ODST days, I understand the need for a major upgrade. \nWhile I’m not a fan of Spartan Locke, I do have to say his armor is sleek. Regardless if Locke ever shows up in Halo again, I think it would be a travesty if the armor didn’t for multiplayer. \nKat’s armor has the classic lines of the torso while the smaller sleeker lines of more female prone armor. This has to be a RETURN<\/strong> <\/span>as it’s VERY popular!<\/p>\nAs I did with the Mark IV, V and VI helmets, the same I do here. There is NO WAY these armors can’t RETURN<\/strong><\/span>. They are WAY to classic for Halo.<\/p>\n

\nWhile I wasn’t a fan of the miniseries nor the helmet so much, of the same name, this armor, though slender looks decent. It’s more the ODST armor of Halo 5 than anything else. \nPathfinder, as worn by Tedra Grant of Fireteam Majestic, is one of the rare angular armors that I like. Though a bit small in the torso for warfare, the rest of the armor looks great. RETURN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/halofanforlife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/RECON-1.jpeg\")

\nOkay, I know I may catch some flak for this. Those rounded shoulders just don’t look right to me. The thighs have a funky thickness to them too. \nFireteam Majestic’s first leader, Paul DeMarco wore this armor. It partially evokes the classic Halo CE armor with those pouches. It’s somewhat popular and I think the helmet goes well with it. \nAs I said about the helmet, you want to tell Emile he can’t have his armor back? Didn’t think so. Besides, it really is BAD ASS! RETURN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nSo for the record, I think all but the “Decimator” and Recon armors should RETURN<\/strong><\/span>. Decimator gets a GONE<\/strong> <\/span>from me (with a hope for a redesign) and Recon gets an UNSURE<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
