The box has decent graphics applied to it. The window on the front shows most of the contents nicely. On the back you see the alternative armor put on the figure.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Besides the tray of figure and parts, there is a small baggie of other parts and an instruction sheet included.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The additional shoulders are gently snapped onto these grey pins. Note the orientation I used to do this. It works best this way, IMO.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One side of the crate is used to store the torso armor. Conveniently there are posts and holes that the armor attaches to. Before\/After\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The shoulder pins fit into holes on the other side of the crate. Additionally, there are “L” hooks for which you pop the extra helmets onto and pin into holes as well.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There is one sandy grey figure stand and a black SMG included in the set.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is the base EOD Spartan figure in orthogonal views.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And the Recon armor replacing the EOD armor.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Yes, there is a difference in the armor color between snap on parts and the lower arms\/legs. It’s noticeable enough, even within the pics. However, the figure, regardless of which armor you put on it, still looks great.<\/p>\n

Finally, the EOD is ready to go hunt some bad guys!\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Summary: <\/span><\/strong>Nothing to build except the crate. Attaching armor pieces to pins and then the crate is the only other “building” you’ll do with this set, other than armor swapping. The crate is very handy for storing the extra armor and looks nice in a UNSC display. The choice of armor is great and the shine on most of the armor bits is fantastic. I just wish it was even throughout.<\/p>\n

Overall Rating:\u00a0I give this set 8.5 out for 10 medals.
\n<\/strong><\/span>Why did I give it a 8.5 out of 10?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 The one issue I have is the different shades of green or the lack of metallic sheen with some of the armor bits. 1 point off for that.
\n\u2022 The only other issue and it’s much less, is that the shoulder armor can sometimes slip off the shoulder pins when trying to attach it to the crate. 1\/2 point for that.<\/p>\n

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
\n<\/strong>\u2022 The figure plus stand and SMG is worth $3.50
\n\u2022 Crate I put at $1.50
\n\u2022 Recon armor set $1.50
\n\u2022 Rogue helmet $.50
\nTOTAL: $7 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Given that the set costs $7 US before tax, the value is spot on.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do I recommend it?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>YES. The different shades of green weren’t enough for me to not buy it. I really like this set. I do wish Mega would have included at least one more weapon. In this case a\u00a0<\/b><\/span>sniper for the Recon Spartan.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
