The box has decent graphics applied to it. The window on the front shows most of the contents nicely. On the back you see the alternative armor put on the figure.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Besides the tray of figure and parts, there is a small baggie of other parts and an instruction sheet included.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The additional shoulders are gently snapped onto these grey pins. Note the orientation I used to do this. It works best this way, IMO.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One side of the crate is used to store the torso armor. Conveniently there are posts and holes that the armor attaches to. Before\/After\"\"<\/a>The shoulder pins fit into holes on the other side of the crate. Additionally, there are “L” hooks for which you pop the extra helmets onto and pin into holes as well.<\/p>\n

There is one sandy grey figure stand and a silver Assault Rifle included in the set.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is the base Spartan Stinger figure in orthogonal views.

And the Athlon armor replacing the Stinger armor.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally, the Stinger is ready to go hunt some bad guys!\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Summary: <\/span><\/strong>Nothing to build except the crate. Attaching armor pieces to pins and then the crate is the only other “building” you’ll do with this set, other than armor swapping. The crate is very handy for storing the extra armor and looks nice in a UNSC display. The choice of armor is great.<\/p>\n

Overall Rating:\u00a0I give this set 9 out for 10 medals.
\n<\/strong><\/span>Why did I give it a 9 out of 10?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 One small issue I have is the reuse of previously released armor. While I personally LOVE the Athlon armor, it would have been nice to have something new. Though, I do give Mega props for the Stinger armor which is totally new! \u00a01\/2 point off
\n\u2022 The only other issue and it’s much less, is that the shoulder armor can sometimes slip off the shoulder pins when trying to attach it to the crate. 1\/2 point off for that.<\/p>\n

Here’s my opinion on the break down of the value of this set. (In US dollars)
\n<\/strong>\u2022 The figure plus stand and Assault Rifle is worth $3.50
\n\u2022 Crate I put at $1.50
\n\u2022 Athlon armor set $1.50
\n\u2022 Hunter helmet $.50
\nTOTAL: $7 (before tax and in U.S. dollars)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Given that the set costs $7 US before tax, the value is spot on.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do I recommend it?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>YES.<\/b><\/span>\u00a0I do enjoy that Mega has this Black armor\/red visor theme recurring. It’s a nice way to build up a\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span>fire team of Spartans with those colors,\u00a0without\u00a0having to customize them that way.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
