The packaging is fairly standard. Which is to say it looks nice. A large window shows off the entirety of the contents.

The back shows part of the figure and lists the accessories as well as shows the other current figures in the 6″ Spartan Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Included with the figure is the NEW for Halo “Commando” Rifle, a recolored Plasma Pistol and a code card. The code card gives you a WCT armor coating for Halo Infinite. From what I understand, you can only redeem this 6″ code once. Meaning, if you buy other 6″ Halo figs, you won’t be able to redeem those codes if you’ve already redeemed one as the armor coating is the same. Also included are several hands. These are very easy to pop off and switch. So, no worries there. I do like that WCT made the decision to do this now instead of later down the line. Whether you use them or not, they do add value to the set. Not to mention, you can interchange them with other Spartans in the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The figure can easily hold the Commando Rifle in the intended position. This is a marked improvement over previous licensees in the past which sometimes had difficulty in doing so properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orthogonal views of the Spartan. Be sure to click this pic to open it up bigger. LOTS of great detail to see! I appreciate that WCT made the figure armor white. Figure customizers out there will easily be able to paint over this armor. You could readily make a Noble 6 for instance. Hmm, I might just have to buy a second one for this very purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Articulation is fantastic. I like that between the 6″ Spartan Series and the World of Halo line, the articulation is virtually the same. (I incorrectly labeled the elbow joints below as ball joints. They are in fact double hinge joints.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluation<\/strong>
Sculpt: <\/strong>Fantastic. As you can see throughout the review, the detail to this figure is well done! 10 of 10 medals!<\/strong>
Articulation: <\/strong>This figure has plenty of articulation that will be considered standard with WCT Halo humanoid figures. The only small issue I have is that the knee joints are not so well hidden. I’d have liked for them to be colored the same as the armor. That’s minor though. 9 out of 10 medals<\/strong>
Paint Application: <\/strong>There isn’t a ton of paint apps here. Some minor silver wash to the lower legs, the light blue lighting. But for what there is, it’s good. I do like that the visors aren’t painted but rather metallic. The Commando Rifle has a well done paint application to it. 10 of 10 medals.<\/strong>
Accessories: <\/strong>I like the Commando. That recolored Plasma Pistol, I’m not a fan of. This however, isn’t WCT’s fault. That’s a decision made by 343. 9 out of 10 medals<\/strong>
Playability:<\/strong> I can see kids (and grownups) posing, playing and displaying this figure in many ways. I would have liked a figure stand for this, just as the World of Halo figures have. 9 of 10 medals.<\/strong>
Overall: 47 medals out of a total 50 medals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I recommend this product? Most definitely. This figure stacks up easily against the old McFarlane figures and readily beats what Mattel made. I’d even go so far as to say WCT’s figures are crisper than the old McF figs. Sometimes I used to feel McF figures were a little rough or gritty. WCT figs look battle worn, but not overly done. Near perfection, IMO. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
