If you didn’t see it, or would like to view the Power Point slides again, you’re in luck. Microsoft’s Offics Faebook page released the following statement from Halo Franchise Media Manager Che Chou. Followed by the slides in order.
Halo has a certain magic to it that I think a lot of games are missing. Halo itself is a universe worthy of devotion. It’s so fully realized – how it’s set in the 26th century, from the politics to how people live, to all the minutiae. There are so many facets to the universe that are fascinating, you can go down any of those rabbit holes and get lost.
The fans are crazy, in a good way. I just came back from the largest gaming convention in the world in Cologne, Germany. There were over 350,000 people. We used PowerPoint to announce the Halo Channel, which will come out in November. When you’re presenting to fans, you don’t do a bunch of bullet points to sell the dream. You ask yourself, what is the image that tells the story? It was the highlight of the convention. People were astonished. It was weeks of work, vindicated. Next week at another conference, we’re going to announce a new multiplayer map. It’s a dream job.” Go #BehindtheDocs and see Halo Franchise Media Manager Che Chou’s PowerPoint: http://off365.ms/bbsYfZ #BrandAmbassador
