The Covenant Drone is coming to Halo Mega Bloks in 2015!

MB grey logo

Kevin Hurd, a fellow Halo fan found this on instagram.

I’ve made a close-up of the set also pictured below the Drone. It looks like it has two Drones, a semi truck AND the NEW articulated Kat and Jorge figs! If this turns out to be true, then we’ll have all of Noble team minus the base Noble Six Spartan.

[UPDATE] It seems the set number and name is 97511 Covenant Empire Drone Attack and will retail for $29.99. [/UPDATE]

New Leaderboard features in Halo: The Master Chief Collection

This is a reblog from Halo Waypoint:

Max Szlagor, Senior Designer here at 343 Industries discusses the new Campaign leaderboard features in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Get the latest on the new scoring system, rival system, and more. Enjoy!

HFFL: I like this addition. I can think of a few friends I’d like to set as rivals for in the campaign. Seems like something fun to achieve while playing. As for all of those beautiful menus….WOW!

HaloSpartanStrike_1280-1413331461322_1280w

Halo: Spartan Strike is a new top-down shooter. While not a sequel to last year’s Spartan Assault, it does have it’s similarities.

This time, the story takes place during the events of Halo 2. Many improvements have been made for the new shooter. Fred LaPorte, 343 producer, states the following in an interview with IGN (paraphrased): Continue reading

And…I likely have a torn rotator cuff.

So as reported earlier,I went to the doctor today for my arm. After checking my range of motion and associated pain, I was then sent to x-ray. The doctor believes it’s a rotator cuff injury. We’ll find out the results of the x-rays by tomorrow at latest. If there is a fracture, then it will be more than just physical therapy.

My arm is in a sling right now. Very hard to type with both hands. Lots of pain.

Anyway, again folks, I’ll keep blogging, it will just be a little light for a few days. Hopefully not more.

Thanks to those who sent well-wishes. It’s much appreciated.

Going to the hospital today…

As some of you have read, I’ve been suffering with pain in my right arm for two weeks now. It got worse yesterday when I fell on it from tripping over something on the floor in my home.

So I’m going to see my doctor today in hopes that they can both give me some meds for the pain and to check to see that I didn’t severely harm anything in my arm. Might need x-rays.

As much as I want to be posting on the blog, my shoulder has been hurting quite a lot. This really stinks for me as I want to post all the good news for the Halo Master Chief Collection. It’s hard to do that with one hand, though that is what I’m doing as of this moment. I’ve had to postpone articles I had intended to write and publish the last few days due to this pain. For that, I’m sorry if I’ve let you folks down.

Hopefully, I’ll be better tonight with pain meds. More so, I hope I won’t need anything more like surgery.

I felt I should let you folks know this so that you don’t think I’m shying away from the blog. Pain has a tendency to prioritize things in ways you don’t want them to be.

I’ll let you all know how I’m doing later tonight.
