On Monday night, we joined together in a celebration that only Halo fans can understand. Whether you had Halo 5: Guardians pre-installed at home or went to a nearby store to pick up your copy on release night, you could likely feel a particular excitement in the air, and we hope that excitement resulted in an all-night (or day, depending on where you might call home) session of campaign, multiplayer, or a perfectly balanced mix of the two. So, this is it huh? The last issue of Canon Fodder to know the emptiness of a world without Halo 5: Guardians. It’s been quite a journey so far, and at the risk of rampant overuse, we are indeed just getting started. There’s still an absolute ton to come over the next few days as we burn bright from the effects of launch-time atmospheric entry, not the least of which is our much-bandied about “Halo 5: Live” event. As we mentioned last week, Halo fiction fans will definitely want to tune in as there will be a huge selection of cool content that you’ll likely find particularly intriguing. Also don’t forget that the game launch will also neatly coincide with the final chapter of Hunt the Truth Season 2. Trust me, you aren’t going to want to miss it. Last week in Canon Fodder, we took an overview look at the upcoming campaign and found out some new info regarding our Sangheili friends (and foes). This week we wanted to take a closer look at the weapons you’ll be wielding throughout Halo 5: Guardians, as well as chat about the brand new ways the Halo Channel and Halo Waypoint will be supporting your Halo 5: Guardians experience. It’s almost time: At long last, Halo 5: Guardians is almost here. And as its October 27 launch date barrels toward us like an oncoming Spartan Charge, we’ve prepped one of the biggest, baddest launch celebrations ever. At 6:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, October 26, we’ll be running our six-hour Halo 5: Live broadcast, culminating with Halo 5: Guardians’ North American launch at midnight.

Halo 5: Guardians Images Added To Xbox One Gamerpic Gallery

Just in time for the release of Halo 5: Guardians next week, we are adding a collection of Halo-themed images to the Xbox One gamerpic gallery including The Master Chief and Spartan Locke. These new images are starting to roll out over the coming days but may take some time to appear in all Xbox Live regions. To change your gamerpic, go to Settings, About Me, Customize profile, Change gamerpic (this may vary if you’re a Preview Program member with the New Xbox One Experience).

Browse the gallery and you should see the new Halo 5 images.
