Master Chief has become one of the most iconic characters in gaming, but for Halo 5: Guardians he won’t be riding solo. This time around, the Chief is joined by three of his fellow schoolmates that help make up Blue Team. I have threetheories that I think makes some sense of how Cortana could be in Halo 5. AND… two of them do not involve Cortana being alive.

Frank O’Conner has expressly stated that she is gone. We saw that in the game.

Halo 5 Guardians reveals from gameinformer’s July issue SPOILERS!!!

I can’t post any images, but I will pass along the info that I read in the article. You’ll just have to trust me that this is legit. I most definitely would NOT deliberately steer you wrong. If any of this were to change, between now and when the printed edition comes out, I’d be HIGHLY surprised.
