Spartan Assault coming to XBOX!!!!!

I don’t know if it was the amount of backlash they got from fans or the lack of money made from this on windows 8 devices or that Halo 4 isn’t doing so well right now. Whatever the reason for the decision, I’m ECSTATIC that Spartan Assault is coming to XBOX!!!

Today, 343 Industries in conjunction with Vanguard Games announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will be available worldwide for digital download this December for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. 

Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will pit gamers in a galactic-scale war against a persistent and overwhelming enemy from long ago – the Flood. With over 30 stimulating missions at your fingertips, play longer than ever with the all-new online Co-op mode and the Operation Hydra expansion that delivered an action-packed addition to the single player campaign. 

Also Halo Waypoint has additional info for the game now with XBOX content. Most importantly is a new Co-Op mode! SWEET!!!!!

  1. Will Windows 8 be getting all these new things as i bought my Windows 8 for Spartan Assault and that I loved my previous experiences with Windows 8. If not then I am not just very mad, but also disappointed. Also straight away this should be free to the people who bought it for Windows 8 as it it just pure money scabbing if they charge people the price again!!!

    • I’ll have to disagree with you Tom. This version will be slightly different. Think of it as buying a game on one console, vs another. You don’t get it free for XBOX when you bought it for Playstation. Yes, I know Win8 is Microsoft as is XBOX, but they are different platforms. Should I get a game free on XBOX that I might have bought for the PC? No. Same thing here. You only paid $7 for your version AND got it months earlier than the rest of us who couldn’t afford a Win8 device or the upgrade on PC. Be happy with that. If this were a $60 game, I might think differently. I can’t get upset of $7.

      • ahh Didn’t realize the price was the same. I thought it would be a $15-$20 game. Though I do hope the extra stuff with the console game is added to Windows 8 and Phone versions but online missions as single player

      • Oh, it’s not going to be $7 for XBOX. So what I’m trying to say is you got a GREAT deal for $7. EARLY access for months. If anything some might be upset that they’ll have to pay more for this on XBOX. I’m not one of those folks. I’m happy it’s coming and again won’t mind paying up to $15 for it.

  2. Same, doesn’t matter how much I’ll be buying it anyway, its just i’ll be buying the same again just with a few new content on a console, hell I already play with my Xbox controller on the PC. Although a Halo game on the Xbox One shortly after its launch is brilliant

  3. Excited about finally getting to play it. Wasn’t going upgrade my PC just for one game. I understand people being upset about wanting the exclusivity for windows 8 devices but you had to figure this was coming.

    • I certainly was hoping so. I’ve said before, NOTHING digital is exclusive. (Or has to be that is) If there is money to be made, it will happen. Just look at the pre-order armor, skins, etc., for Halo 4. Didn’t stay exclusive either.
