Woot, Mortal Dictata inbound!

I just checked the status of delivery for my copy of Halo: Mortal Dictata. It’s in Pittsburgh, ready to be delivered sometime Friday.

So, I know I’ll be a readin’ fool when it comes in! Anyone else get a copy of the book? If so, have you finished it yet?

NO SPOILERS IN REPLIES, please. (Lest I hunt you down and t-bag you. Trust me, you wouldn’t like it…LOL)

  1. Sal,

I got it on Tuesday and finished it Tuesday night. While still preferring Eric Nylund’s style of writing, the book moved along very well.

I won’t say any more until you finish the book, but I would love to get your take on it and the direction the trilogy took Halo Lore.

    • Absolutely, we’ll discuss it. I plan on having a review up end of this weekend (if I can get it all read by then…).

    • I got it Tuesday through Google. I thought it moved well too. The one thing I have liked about her books the most (and this is NOT as spoiler for the plot) is how well she seems to show the plight of the common soldier. The other likes and dislikes I will look forward to discussing on here soon.

      • Agreed. I don’t know why others don’t like her writing. I enjoy her writing as much as other authors. In some cases even more so.
