Halo 4 War Games weekly challenges: 11-26/12-2-12

Campaign ones are good this week. Anyone else notice that each week we’ve been getting in order or missions the levels of the campaign? Great way to go for the Legendary Solo achievement without stressing over getting it quickly, AND getting credits for it. This is how I’ve been playing it. Yeah, it’ll take me two months from launch date to complete Legendary Solo, but I’m in no rush.

Spartan Ops challenges are EASY! Whew. And I LOVE Spartan Ops!!!

War Games challenges are SUPER easy too. Swat for the first for sure. More Swat or regular gameplay for the second one.

All told for the weekly challenges you can get yourself 20,000 XP. Not to shabby at all!

  1. I am with you sal on this is a great way to beat it on legendary. I struggle on that difficulty though. Am I the only one?

    • There are spots in a couple of the levels that I’ve had a little difficulty getting past. Usually though after I’ve died a couple of times trying the same thing I switch up the tactic and see if that works. That happened yesterday while playing through the level “Infinity”. I was at the point where you’re at the door defending the area (just before you meet the marines and Lasky for the first time). I tried just shooting my way out. Didn’t work, got overwhelmed. I tried using the turret closest to where you put Cortana at. Didn’t work, got overwhelmed. However, by this time I did notice a pattern with the enemies. So I then raced over to the furthest turret. That did it for me. I was able to eliminate the first few waves of enemies with ease. When it finally settled down, I ripped the turret off, moved back toward the door and hunkered down. It was easy to dispatch the knights and crawlers then.
